This scent is good for clarifying but in a very daytime, high-noon way, throwing the matter into great contrast. It helps with cutting oneself free of old ways of thinking and feeling, be it a habit, non-productive regrets, or an obsessive love. Some folks use this fragrance as many would frankincense - to purge or purify a location or object of negative spirits or vibrations. Some consider it a Moon scent. This makes sense if orange is Full Moon; then lemon must be New Moon - and this fits with its occasional use in baneful work, especially for hexing someone. But others consider that it is a powerful Sun scent, and indeed there is something very cheerful and daylight about the perfume of a lemon. Steam-distilled from organic Citrus limonum. Top Combining With Other Essential Oils Don't use lemon on your skin if you will be out in the sun. In general, the skin of some people is very sensitive to citrus oils. The fresh scent of lemon goes well with the natural perfumes of bay, bergamot, basil, dill, fennel, frankincense, geranium, hyssop, lavender, nutmeg, orange, peppermint, rosemary, and ylang ylang.
