for the Beloved Dead
This oil is
based on myrrh, which has long been used for cleansing the bodies of
the dead and for working with the Underworld. The myrrh is sweetened with
opoponax (aka "sweet myrrh"), which some consider to be the higher
vibration of myrrh. It is given smoothness and richness with our
all-plant formulation of ambergris. This scent is soothing but also
evokes the mysterious depths, that which we cannot now know or see. It includes geranium for its deep rich greenery, which reminds us that those who are gone from this plane do live on, and that their lives are bound up with ours always. This peaceful magic oil is good for comforting the grieving and for honoring and remembering those who are gone from the physical plane. It is a nice one for Samhain also. The base is fractionated coconut oil and, like everything we craft, it is free of fragrance oils, fillers, extenders, dyes, and synthetic ingredients of any type.
