Prosperity Oil
Warm, earthy, and spicy with a touch of fruit, this is our own formula for a
prosperity oil. The traditional
Element associated with wealth is Earth, so for this magic oil we began with dark patchouli, galbanum, sweet
hay, and rich spikenard. We added davana for its changeability
(a little reference to the Wheel of Fortune here). Davana
often smells like apples, which are the quintessential storage
fruit, and when we're talking abundance, we're talking a full storehouse.
We combined that with the smooth lusciousness of tonka and the sweetness
of hay. More references to wealth come in the use of the precious
resins frankincense and olibanum, and a touch of sandalwood. The other
signifier of wealth we chose was spices, because they have for thousands of years been prized by human beings and associated
with wealth. Cardamom, coriander, and clove add rich spice to this mix. This oil is tailor-made for use in prosperity spells. Alchemy Works also has Lucrum incense
to go with this oil to aid in ritual work dedicated to abundance
